A Tea with an Address

Krieberg Farm, Cederberg: This is where Corné & Lydia van der Westhuizen harvest their Rooibos – and where it is packed. Farm brand Cederbos means: straight from the farmer, packed on site, without detours.

Cederbos Organic Rooibos – photographed where it grows: Krieberg Farm, Cederberg (South Africa). Pure Rooibos as well as Maple–Walnut · Chocolate–Orange · Vanilla–Almond · Honey–Lemon · Chai flavours.

And then this idea: Rooibos as a dessert moment – warm, nutty, refined. Sounds unusual? That’s what sparks curiosity: Organic Rooibos Natural, Maple–Walnut, Chocolate–Orange, Vanilla–Almond, Honey–Lemon, Chai – French-inspired finesse, inspired by Lydia’s home Nice. She moved to South Africa with Corné for love – and the flavours carry that accent.

Cederbos – France Meets Cederberg

“Chez Nous – at home” is written at the family farm. Corné works the fields, Lydia creates the blends. Since 2018, a Rooibos line has been created at Krieberg Farm that combines origin and indulgence – with subtle patisserie nuances rather than loud sweetness.

This is where Cederbos Rooibos feels at home: on Krieberg Farm. And in Lydia’s flavours, Nice lives on – delicate, rounded, French-inspired.

How does it taste & what does it go with?
  • Character: cocoa-warm, fine orange zest, gently sweet without heaviness.
  • How to drink: hot as a dessert moment; a piece of orange zest enhances the freshness.

  • Teapot (0.5 l): 2 bags · 95–100 °C · 8–10 min.

Why Cederbos?
  • Packed on site: Harvest, processing & packing at Krieberg Farm (Cederberg).
  • Direct from the farmer: Corné & Lydia van der Westhuizen – clearly traceable origin.
  • French-inspired: Lydia’s roots in Nice shape the refined dessert profiles.
  • Caffeine-free & versatile: reliable hot or cold.
Where does Rooibos come from?

Rooibos is native to the Cederberg (Western Cape, South Africa) – where climate and Fynbos shape the plant. Cederbos harvests on its own fields; the Rooibos is sun-dried and gently processed. This way, the origin is present in every cup.
