Earl Grey Rooibos Tea 50g, Tea Bags

Carmién Earl Grey Rooibos Tea combines South African rooibos with the characteristic flavour of bergamot. Bergamot is a citrus fruit and gives the tea its distinctive fresh, delicately aromatic Earl Grey character.

Unlike traditional Earl Grey, which is usually based on black tea, this version is made with rooibos and is therefore naturally caffeine-free. The mild, naturally slightly sweet character of rooibos blends harmoniously with the fresh citrus notes of bergamot.

The pack contains 20 pillow tea bags, each with 2.5 g of tea. According to Carmién, the tea bags are made from Fibre+, a plastic-free filter paper.

Preparation

Pour 250 ml of boiling water (100 °C / 212 °F) over one tea bag and allow to steep for 5–10 minutes. Adjust the steeping time according to your preferred strength.

Enjoy the Earl Grey Rooibos on its own or add milk, honey, sugar or a slice of lemon to taste. Carmién recommends a drinking temperature of approximately 60 °C.

Also delicious chilled

For chilled Earl Grey Rooibos, use one tea bag per 250 ml of boiling water and steep for at least 10 minutes. Allow to cool and serve chilled. It is particularly refreshing with ice cubes, a slice of lemon and fresh mint leaves.
