Many people know rooibos only as “a tea”. This Discovery Pack shows the opposite: tropical, fruity, minty, spicy – plus four cold-brew varieties for cold water. It is not a stock-up pack for one single variety, but a tasting selection that lets you compare different Carmién style directions side by side.

Preparation
Cold Brew: Only for the 4 cold-brew varieties. Add 1 tea bag to 250 ml of cold water, leave to infuse for 10 to 30 minutes and swirl briefly from time to time.
Hot: For all other varieties, use 1 tea bag per 250 ml of boiling water and infuse for 5 to 10 minutes. For iced tea, infuse hot first, then let it cool and serve over ice.
The Discovery Pack contains one tea bag with caffeine: Energise with guarana. Cleanse also contains senna.
If you are sensitive to caffeine or senna, please check the ingredient list of the respective variety before drinking it.

I deliberately put together 10 different Carmién tea bags in one PE bag so that you can easily try typical Carmién flavour directions – from cold brew to fruity and wellness blends. This set is intended as a tasting pack: try first, then buy your favourite variety again more selectively.
Each individually wrapped tea bag has its own best-before date. Carmién generally works with 24 months for tea. This is not a use-by date, but the period during which aroma, flavour and colour are guaranteed when stored correctly.
In practice, this theoretical shelf life is often already shorter by the time the tea arrives in Germany, because Carmién packs in batches, stores goods and then transport and goods receipt are added. That is why the remaining shelf life can vary noticeably from one tea bag to another.
Because the Discovery Pack brings together different varieties and sometimes different batches, the best-before date can vary from tea bag to tea bag. In rare cases, an individual tea bag may also have a slightly expired best-before date. This does not automatically mean that the tea is unusable if stored dry; it simply means that Carmién no longer guarantees the sensory properties after the best-before date.
If a long and as uniform as possible remaining shelf life is important to you, original packs with just one variety are usually the better choice.
