If you’re looking for the more “espresso-like”, more strongly extracted Rooibos Espresso like from a portafilter pad, the pad is the more intense option. Many customers love the capsules precisely for their mild, rounded character – especially in milk drinks.

Preparation (Quickstart)

• Start with the Espresso button (short extraction).
• Briefly pre-warm the cup – it makes the drink rounder.
• For iced drinks: brew directly over ice.

How to make it stronger (Practical tips)

• Short instead of long: espresso volume instead of lungo – it stays more concentrated.
• For latte/cappuccino: better 2 short extractions instead of 1 long one (more flavor, less “watery”).
• Cleaner taste: run a quick rinse (water-only) before brewing.
