Many people know rooibos only as “a tea”. This Discovery Pack shows the opposite: tropical, fruity, minty, spicy – plus Cold Brew for cold water. A tasting bag for anyone who wants to find out which Carmién variety truly suits them.

Cold Brew (only for the 4 Cold Brew varieties): 1 tea bag in 250 ml cold water (approx. 5–25 °C), steep for 10–30 minutes, shake briefly in between.
Hot (all other varieties): 1 tea bag per 250 ml boiling water (100 °C), steep for 5–10 minutes. For iced tea: brew hot, let cool, serve over ice.
Note: This Discovery Pack contains 1 caffeinated tea bag (Energise, guarana). Cleanse also contains senna – please check the ingredient list if you are sensitive.

Why I pack this Discovery Pack this way: I deliberately combine 10 different Carmién teas into one PE bag so you can get to know typical Carmién flavour directions easily and without much effort – from Cold Brew to fruity to Wellness. This pack is meant as a tasting set: try, find your favourite, then – if you like – repurchase that one specifically.
About the best-before date: Each individually wrapped tea bag has its own best-before date. For tea, Carmién typically uses 24 months – deliberately rather cautious. Important: the best-before date is not an expiry date, but the period during which, with proper storage, the sensory qualities (aroma, taste, colour) are assured.
For me, these 24 months are often only theoretical: Carmién packs in batches and stores product before shipping. Then add transport and goods receipt in Germany. That’s why the remaining shelf life on arrival can be significantly shorter (in individual cases, for example only around 9 months).
Because the Discovery Pack contains different varieties (partly from different batches), the remaining shelf life per bag can vary. In rare cases, a single tea bag may have a slightly exceeded best-before date – this generally does not mean it is harmful to health when tea has been stored dry, but rather that Carmién no longer assures the sensory qualities (aroma, taste, colour) after the best-before date.
If you only want tea with a long remaining shelf life or the best-before date is a deal-breaker for you, this Discovery Pack is probably not ideal – in that case original packs (one variety, one uniform best-before date) are the better choice.
