Honeybush & Rooibos Espresso Pods – balanced, smooth, full-bodied
Rooibos adds body and warmth, while honeybush brings natural sweetness and aroma – together they create a particularly harmonious espresso base. As an espresso option for a portafilter machine, these pods are ideal if you’re looking for something “between bold and mild” – with clean handling and consistent results.

Quickstart: Brewing with pods (portafilter)
Fit note: The pods are designed for 58 mm filter baskets (commonly used in professional machines). In many home portafilter machines (e.g. approx. 51–52 mm), they fit best in the double basket – gently press the pod until it sits flush.
- Place the pod into the inserted filter basket and lock in the portafilter.
- 1st pull: brew one single shot.
- Wait 5 seconds.
- 2nd pull: brew a second single shot.
Tip: After the first pull, the blend becomes wet and expands. On the second pull, the flow slows down – extraction improves and the taste becomes rounder and more intense.

Red drinks like in a café
Red Cappuccino (180 ml)
- Preheat the cup.
- Pull 25–30 ml of espresso base into the warmed cup.
- Steam 100–150 ml milk (up to max. 65 °C).
- Pour in the milk, stir briefly, enjoy.
Red Latte (240 ml)
- Preheat a latte glass.
- Pull about 30 ml espresso base into the warmed glass.
- Steam about 210 ml milk (up to max. 65 °C).
- Pour in the milk (keep the pitcher close, gentle side-to-side motion).
Tip: For more intensity, use two short pulls instead of one long pull – this keeps the flavour concentrated.
